About Me

My name is Alasdair Macdonald.  I live with my wife Rachel, 2 children Craig and Alexis and our 2 dogs, Millie a Scotty/Westie cross and Skye a Shih Tzu.

I am very fortunate, since qualifying as an instructor in 2014, to have been training dogs around Milngavie and Bearsden. I only work with positive training methods and my goal is to see a dog or handler achieving their goals, no matter how small or big they are.

I am heavily involved, as a volunteer with Bearsden Dog Training Club, as both Instructor and Chairperson.  Routinely in the club we would train around 200 dogs a year. 

For those who live or visit North Glasgow, you may have met me at the numerous outdoor events over the last few years where dogs have been involved.  These include The Vet School Rodeo,  Milngavie and Bearsden Highland Games , Milngavie Week Dog Show and Paws in the Park over in Motherwell.
